Dear members of Unifor Locals 111 and 2200,

Your Joint Bargaining Committee has reached a third tentative agreement with
Coast Mountain Bus Company and it goes to a ratification vote on Monday,
September 21, 2026.

We want to be direct about what has changed and what has not. The agreement
you will vote on is the same tentative agreement signed on July 20, 2026, with
one significant change: a new Letter of Understanding (LOU) on Running Time,
Recovery and Electronic Service Sheets, signed September 12, 2026. That LOU is
the change.

Running time and recovery were the top priorities members identified in the most
recent survey, and over the past month The Joint Committee kept those issues in
front of the employer and the mediator.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, The Joint Committee met with the Employer
and the mediator and left that meeting with new language that addresses them
directly.

The LOU also keeps the mediator involved. If either party fails to follow it, the
issue goes straight back to the mediator for immediate resolution rather than
waiting on the grievance process.

The Joint Bargaining Committee is unanimously recommending this agreement.

The vote will be held on Monday, September 21 using SimplyVoting. The
complete package of information, including the LOU, is available at
https://unifor111.ca/faq/. Please review it before you vote.

We also need to be clear about what happens if the agreement is not ratified.
The employer has told the committee this is its best and final offer. If members
reject it, full job action begins at 00:01hrs on Wednesday, September 23, 2026,
(the same time as 24:01, Tuesday, September 24, 2026) with a complete
withdrawal of service and picket lines.

This is not a scare tactic.

It is your committee and the executive boards of both locals being transparent
with you about where a rejection leads, so that every member votes with the full
picture.

In solidarity,

Unifor Local 2200 and 111 Joint Bargaining Committee
