Dear Members of Unifor Locals 2200 and 111,
The Joint Committee is sending this from the table as we expect to be
here after the support staff goes home for the weekend.
This week has been long, ending late into the evening every night.
This is not to be taken as a complaint, these hours have been very
productive, we have progressed in all areas of the contract and are
down to just a small handful of non-monetary items in a couple of
sections.
We will be meeting with the employer the entire week starting May
11th where we expect to make substantial progress on our monetary
issues. Bulletin #9 will come out May 15, 2026, to update you where
we are in the process.
