Dear members of Unifor Locals 111 and 2200,
Here is your weekly wrap up of Joint Bargaining.
We met with the employer on February 10th, where we solely worked on the Operations section of the CBA and then again on February 12th where we were able to start the discussions in earnest on our proposals for the Community Transit, Maintenance and Seabus sections.
Your Committee and the employer have agreed on a handful of non-monetary items this week, and are optimistic this momentum will continue.
We will be meeting with the employer next on February 17th through 19th, in two separate groups, one focused on Spareboard improvements and the other focused on making gains in the Maintenance & Seabus sections.
We remain committed to keeping you informed to the best that we are able, and our next bulletin will be February 20th.
