JOB ACTION UPDATE #2

Share

Dear Members of Unifor Local 2200,

Here is where our job action stands and what it means for you. The uniform ban continues.

Local 111 is moving to the next stage of job action. Encouraging drivers to operate as they were trained.

That stage is operator specific. Your regular duties do not change. Here is what we are asking of every member:

Continue with your regular duties and continue the uniform ban.

Do not take unilateral action of any kind, and do not act on direction that does not come from your Local.

Refer all media questions to your Local President, and do not discuss the campaign on personal social media.

Nothing in this campaign asks you to compromise safety, standards, or the quality of your work.

Our maintenance and Seabus members are what keep this system running every day, and the conditions you work under are part of what we are fighting for at this table. This is not a strike.

Buses are running, the system is operating, and members are working. Our position is stronger every day that we stay disciplined and stay together.

This is the extent of the information we can share at this time. We will provide another update as the campaign rolls out.

In Solidarity,

Unifor Local 2200
